There are quite a few gamers in the WHF office.

I'm 42 (and three quarters) and we, as a family, have an Xbox 360, Wii and two or three DSs.

And a PC (got to have a regular Grand Prix Legends fix).

I started with a Sega Megadrive about 15 years ago, then moved on to PlayStation and Xbox.

I think gaming has definitely become more acceptable in general.

Having said that, I must confess to being a bit wary about announcing my gaming enjoyment to new aquaintances.

I should be old enough not to care...

I'm a big games fan, and I'm 32. I see no shame in that

I've play on all the current console platforms and the PC, though I don't have any of the handheld machines.

My girlfriend is harping on about a DS though, so we'll probably have to get one of them soon. And I do fancy a PSP for remote play, but I think the PSP is just about due an update, so I'm hanging off.

I imagine I'll be gaming well into my mid-life crisis

i see i am the only one so far who started out with the magnificent Dragon 32

spectrum 48 after that, then a commodore amiga (blew me away when i got it).

consoles after that, megadrive, xbox, xbox360.

if it wasn't for xboxlive i would hardly use my 360 now - i find single player games boring usually.  also xboxlive has confirmed my gaming greatness  fave games at the moment are cod4 and forza 2 where i RULE!! 

given that the average age of gamers is mid thirties, you would have thought the teenagers would find dealing with being lapped by a 34 year old easier then they do.
