Audio T, Chandlers Ford

Spent a few hours in this shop auditioning speakers on a saturday afternoon. No appointment, just bowled in off the street, complete with Mrs Pro, 4 yr old, 2 yr old and 4 month old. Really accomodating...even let us use the loo.

Gave me a good deal at the end of it too (I think).....Arcam Muso/Logo 5.1 complete with wall brackets, sub woofer lead and Onkyo 606 for £1350

Re: Audio T, Chandlers Ford

Unfortunately no. They didn't have all the speakers in stock, so I'll have to wait.

Have to say I was quite pleased with it all in the shop. The Muso's definately came out top for me when compared to the R90s, B&W MT30 satellites & KET 5005.2

I bought the Onkyo as an impulse buy. They had one in stock in black. I was going to get the 875 but was concerned that the speakers were too "cheap" to justify the 875.

My original intention was to get the tannoy arena highline 500....but just couldn't get a demo and, disappointingly, they weren't at bristol. I did hear the 3005SEs at bristol and wasn't impressed (bad room, good competition?). Same thing with the Dali Motifs.

Bit disappointed that several threads have been giving the 606 a bit of a slating (for music). It's not that bad is it?

Oh well. Saved some cash. And I have plans.....

We've got an Audio-T down here in Eastbourne. I've been in there a couple of times and the staff have always been friendly and approachable.

I had excellent service from Audio-T, Chandlers Ford a few years back when comparing Cyrus, Linn and Naim kit. My wife is wheelchair bound and they really couldn't do enough to help her get in to the dem-room and made sure that everything was comfortable for her. Audio Excellence in Swansea seem to have a similar outlook- I even got advice from one of their staff members when we bumped into each other in a bike shop once.
Some would ask, how could a perfect God create a universe filled with so much that is evil.
They have missed a greater conundrum: why would a perfect God create a universe at all?"

Was this advice about your bike or your HiFi kit?

I used to live in Winchester and used Audio T a couple of times for odd bits of kit (cables mainly).

Always very helpful.
