Not snobbery - metal fatigue.

You haven't been looking hard enough.

Anyhow, today's favourite is the new(ish) Four Tet e.p. 'Ringer'. Every home should have one.

Ah now, Allan Holdsworth, that's better. That up-a-tone/down-a-tone harmonised riff - genius.........

But instead it just kept on raining

Stupendous choice, Thaiman. 'Tommy' is aces.

My favourite Who (and I say this partly for Mr E's benefit) is

'A Quick One, While He's Away'

Nah, whilst AQOWHA is the precursor to Tommy, ...Sell Out does knock it into a cocked hat! Although, saying that, 'So Sad About Us' is a blinder of a song...

mind you I can't complain, I'm currently listening to the Strawbs, beards and banjo's anyone?

Believe it or not, Thaiman, it's just the one song - although a good 10 minutes or so at that. It fills up one side of the Who's second LP and basically is one of the first 'rock operas' , i.e. a very long song/set of songs that has a more or less coherent narrative, in this case it's about an unfaithful wife who cheats on her husband with an engine driver and then gets forgiven by him at the end. All good clean guitar smashing fun.

Earlier this morning, Dusty in Memphis.

Now, various covers from here while waiting for the F1 to start.
