Can we pick dead people?

If so...

Lead singer: Roger Hodgson (Supertramp)

Backing voice: Luther Vandross and Bono (U2)

Lead guitar: Eddie Van Halen (fairly obvious)

Rhythm guitar: Prince (very suprisingly, you have to hear him play)

Drums: Neil Peart (Rush)

Synth: Rick Wakeman (Yes and others)

Producer: NEIL DORFSMAN (Dire Straits is his best)

Yep! Dead or alive, doesn't really matter.

Eddie Van Halen might as well be dead, the way he's playing now........

Rock on John! Anybody who stands up and plays guitar AND sings at the same time is great IMHO!

Dream System: Krell KSA-250, Naim NAC552, Wharfedale E-70 & uber-LP12.

Actual System: Arcam A32, CD73, Wharfedale EVO2 30, Project Debut III.

I'll agree with that - I find it hard to just to stand and sing!

I think the whole music industry is propped up by over-inflated egos. . .

Vocals - Brad Delp (sadly departed Boston singer)

Guitars - Alex Lifeson and Steve Clark (dead Def Lappard guitarist(

Bass - Jaco Pastorius (and yes, he's dead too)

Re: The greatest rock/pop band?

Not necessarily the most skillful in their respective instrument, but musicians I admire and love to listen to.

Vocals / Guitar : Robert Smith (CURE)

Guitar : Johnny Marr (SMITHS)

Bass : Flea (RHCP)

Keyboards : Fletch (DEPECHE MODE)

Drums : Dave Grohl (NIRVANA)

Not sure if they would all get on well though, might be an interesting studio session...
