I don't think you will get much help with that  attitude pal. This is not a 'cliquey' forum, it may just be that not many people know the answer to your question.

To be fair, it's a fairly specific problem - I'm not sure there are many people here with that brand of TV. And I think most of the WHF team are probably busy getting a magazine made.

You're more likely to get a response just bumping the thread every now and then than insulting other forum users. As you can see, this site is pretty popular and it's very easy for one thread to get lost amongst the multitude.

For a kick-off, please don't insult other members - it's against the house rules you accepted when you signed up.

To address your problem - and this is an expert answering at 5am, having just spotted your post - if you had an upgrade done to fix the problem a few months ago, and it has now failed, I'd take it up with whoever did the upgrade. AFAIK nothing has changed with Sky to create the problem - our pre-HDMI set at home still gets Sky HD just fine via DVI and an adapter, or at least it did when I last watched it a week and a half ago - so it suggests there's a problem in the TV, which may need the attention of a service person.

Hope that reply was non-cliquey and inclusive enough  for you.

Re: sky HDCP

Thanks Andrew, helpful as ever – and hello by the way! Won't ask what you're doing up at 5am.

And Jonsey, it might interest you to know that those of us who work on the website full time do our best to answer as many posts as we can, but there are only a couple of us and I'm holding the fort right now as Andrew is on a fact-finding trip in the Far East (hence his 5am response) and our Editor-in-Chief Clare is on a well-earned holiday.

It's our mission to make this site as helpful and friendly as possible, but it cuts both ways. You'll find most people on these Forums only too willing to help if they can – we're anything but cliquey.
