Anyone else have a 2-tone Cyrus amp set-up?

Marantz CD17 KI Sig...PREXvs...Smartpower+ (2)...PSX-R(3)...Mission754f.

Cyrus collection.. looking at them just enough to make everyone quiet. Excellent choice. Why dont use Cyrus CD player too?

I did audition a Cyrus cd player , but the Marantz sounded better...

hi there thinking about getting a psx-r for my aca7 pre did you add the PSX-R's all at the same time? do they make a massive difference  and do they work better on the pre or the powers?

Originally 2 PSX-R's were used to monobloc the old Cyrus Power amp many many years ago. Then another was added to the old Pre amp , which did sound better when PSX'd.

Then when i upgraded i just kept the 3 of them. To be honest i've never tried listening without them since then as I like the sound the way it is. Probably jusy laziness though.
