Vinyl -> MP3, what software do you use?

Currently ripping some vinyl to .wav using audiograbber.

It's free and seems to make decent .wavs but id like to have a go at cleaning up a bit of the background noise off them before I convert them to MP3 :) That said i dont want to fiddle too much as to ruin the sound.

So what do people use??

I find the free software at www.audacity.sourceforge.net easy and effective.

Ditto!

Audacity is the one we find easiest to use. Great functionality for the price!
