InFocus is adding two Full HD/1080p projectors to its UK line-up. The Play Big IN82 and IN81 models are designed to show off HD DVD and Blu-ray films in all their high-definition glory.
The £2999 IN82 is equipped with the latest DLP DarkChip3 technology with BrilliantColour from Texas Instruments, and has a claimed contrast ratio of 4000:1. This, the company says, results in deep, rich blacks and bright whites.
The £2499 IN81 uses Texas Instruments' DLP DarkChip2 technology and has a claimed contrast ratio of 3000:1.
Both models use Pixelworks DNX 10-bit video processing and have two HDMI 1.3 inputs. Additional features include automatic colour gamut and black level calibration, and digital vertical lens shift. They'll be available in September.
