As fans throughout the world plan to mark the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death on Thursday 16th August, companies continue to cash-in - sorry, add their own tribute - with a range of music and movie re-releases.

Elvis-3D-Boxset-Web The latest offering is a limited edition DVD boxset from Warner Video, including an oddly diverse selection of the King's movies and live performances, "packaged to resemble a blue-suede shoe box".

Highlights of the 11-disc boxset - released on 20th August - includes two new double-disc special edition DVDs of Elvis: That's The Way it Is and This Is Elvis. Both feature remastered sound and vision and are also available separately (the former is worth the money for the frenzied rendition of Suspicious Minds alone). Elvis-Ttwis-Dvd-Web

The blue box also houses new deluxe editions of Jailhouse Rock and Viva Las Vegas - remastered alongside the new HD DVD versions of the movies- plus five of Elvis' less remarkable movies: Charro!, Stay Away Joe, Kissin' Cousins, Girl Happy and Live a little, Love a little (though the latter does partially redeem itself by including the original version of the famously remixed A Little Less Conversation).

The boxset has an RRP of £91.99, but there are already pre-order deals to be had...
