Personally I enjoy the leaner sound of these cables within my system (other cables I tried at the same time made the bass seem bloated and imprecise). So, if you are having problems with 'woolly' bass give these cables a try. Their resolution, in terms of the ability to make out details, seems fantastic to me. Also the build quality of the cable (and I know you shouldn't be impressed by 'packaging') seems alot better than the other cables I tried.
As usual I guess, what is right for one system might not be right for another. Best to demo a pair from a reputable dealer and let your ears make the choice.
