I've got these speakers hooked up to an Onkyo SR606 and have to say that the sound quality is stunning. In your review you say that it doesn't have a 'room shaking bottom end' - however, most packages online at the moment have a replacement sub in the package, which is the MJ Acoustic's Reference 100 MkII which (after a bit of playing with the setup) definitely rattled all the windows in my lounge. All the levels sound good, even if music isn't great from the SR606 (although it's still good...), BluRay watching & listening has never been better. Fantastic system and you can pick it up for an absolute song at the moment (around £700). Enjoy
