As above...cheap as chips off Amazon, makes a tangible difference to TV pictures and music through my Hi-Fi. For the money, well worth it. I would recommend it to anyone dabbling in Hi-Fi but not wanting to re-mortgage the house for it!

I am happy to say, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've noticed a differance in picture quality, even had to run through the set ups and THX optimizer again to double check.
Noticably major improvements in my surround sound amp and sub, my sub no longer humms and seperation is much more detailed..now its made me realise I need to upgrade a few things.
Without reading this review I may never have bought this and realeased the potential of my equipment.
Thanks What Hifi...

yep it works and i was sceptical about their improvements on home cinema systems.better clarity and separation tighter bass,i agree with the whathifi team try it you wont be dissapointed.

I would say it improves about 80% of my music collection with some extra details and a bit more bass and control. But occasionally it seems to temper the music a little and depending on the recording add a slightly hard edge. But for around £30 you could always use your dirty mains 20 %of the time without feeling you've spent an arm and a leg. Could be the best solution to all those ' i like the general sound of my system, but if only it sounded a bit more........' Does what it says on the packet.

This is the best value upgrade you can make for the money. I was a bit sceptical at first, but the product bears the 5 star rating on it so i thought i'd give it a try.
Well, i was astounded at the difference. I ran all four of my home theatre mains plugs through it. I ran some HD movie scenes through my system before i installed it, then again afterwards.
The sound was improved remarkably, more clarity, and much better dynamics. Hi-res Blu-ray soundtracks sounded even better than before.
Can't say i noticed a particularly significant jump in picture quality, but i've only run a couple of discs since installing it, so the jury's still out.
Even so, its well worth it for the extra depth it gives to the audio. I paid £35 for it. Absolute bargain!

I've just started getting back into Hi-Fi again after a few years out while the kids were young (nothing ruins a good set of speakers faster than a finger in the tweeter) and thought I'd start by picking up a few bits and pieces off of ebay and see how it went. I got a Marantz CD Player, Arcam Amp and Mission speakers wired it all up off I went with a half decent little system. I saw the review of the CS929 on here and thought I'd give it a try. As my 13 year old daughter is so fond of saying 'Oh My God!'.The difference is staggering. The stereo image got better, the detail and clarity was much improved and the bass got considerably fatter with more punch. I was a bit sceptical to start with but I'm glad to say I was proven totally wrong.
Just buy one, you won't regret it.

Yes, despite the reams of pages on the old 'interweb devoted to debunking the 'science' behind the benefits of improved mains quality on hi-fi gear I can vouch that it does indeed seem to make a difference to sound quality. Note sound 'quality' not 'tone'. Everything seems a bit tidier and smoother. I can't go as far with the Video gear I've got hooked up to the Tacima, it may be stretching things a bit. But logically as electricity is the fuel of electronic gear then the better the fuel the better the performance. Just like with cars really. I mean, what engine does not prefer Shell V-Power to your standard supermarket 95 Ron!

Bought mine off Amazon for £24 inc delivery. It's made a massive difference to the picture quality on my 42" Pany plasma. Watching SKY (bog standard box) I was amazed at how much cleaner the picture was, alot less noise than before. Improved performance and surge protection for £24, absolute bargain.
