Well balanced and weighty, just lacking a bit of excitement

Good levels of detail, weighty sound, excellent build

Sluggish bass

These Sennheisers emit an air of comfortable solidity – and sonically that’s precisely what you get from the open-backed ’595s.

They produce a weighty sound that’s easy on the ear. Detail levels are good and high frequencies refined. On the con side, the bass could do with some extra agility.

That said, these ’phones still have much to offer.
