Even if you take Freesat out of the equation, this Panasonic is worth the extra over its TX-P46S10 sibling, but that doesn’t make it the best

Thanks!  I was too surprsied by the 4 Stars and comments seeing as the 42G15 and 42G10 both get 5 Stars and much better reviews, and they're all the same technology underneath, ie the G12 screen, 600HZ sub-field drive, etc etc.

It seems that difference is a) size and b) non-picture realted extras like Freesat, connectivity, etc

Having only recently purchased my Panasonic TX P46G15 all I can say is 'What a FANTASTIC TV' Very easy to set up and the silver stand and silver surround on the bottom of the TV gives it a very Up Market Feel.   The Freeview reception is first class with clear, clean and precise picture reception.  Switch to HD using SKY and your in another world.   Had the pleasure of watching Football, Rugby and Cricket at the weekend all in HD and the picture was breathtaking.  I am suprised at your reviews of this set suggesting that the picture wasnt perfect.  You suggested smears and judders.  Well all I can say is that my TV was 100 % perfect.

The picture was clear, detailed, smooth and absolutely no judder or smearing.

As for movies on SKY HD, well as good as perfect as you can get.  As to the sound, all I can say is that its punchy, clear and enough volume to provide perfect reception.

All in all this is a first class HDTV and with all the latest NeoPDP and 600 Hz on display, and its PLASMA to, so you can be assured you will get the very best from all the deep colours on view.

I would give it 10 our of 10.
