Worked fine until I added the CD5i CD, then it died.

Naim customer service is not what you would call "customer orientated".

What a lot of time wasters. Not what I expected from this brand, but a lesson learned! Really burned I wasted my money on this kit though

Oh yes, I believe you because my Nait 5i took me more than a month to finish its runn in, after that it become so rhythmic and punchy. I also love the way how it reproduce the voices.

Dynamic and pacy with stunning musicality and realism.

Had one for nearly 3 years and still enthralled.

After a long weekend testing the Nait 5i, I returned it to the dealer with mixed emotions.

Playing my old Marantz tuner and the TV/DVD's the Naim really impressed. On the flip side, when I fired up my CD73T I found the Naim less than pleasant. Although not boomy, the bass was fatiguing, lacking the detail and clarity I hoped to hear.

Match it with a more compatable player & I'm sure it will sing, otherwise look at different brands.
