This is an RF wireless headphone – as opposed to Bluetooth. The Beyerdynamics are a fairly chunky but comfortable over-ear model, powered by two rechargeable AAA batteries.

The clever bit is done in a cigarette-holder-sized slice of electronics which charges from the mains and to the headphones, and takes a line-in from your audio source.

Select a channel and the headphones sniff out your signal.

They produce a clean, open and detailed sound, with plenty of dynamics that justify the price.
