Judged in isolation, the Equator 2.0 doesn’t hugely disappoint: you get a slightly warm-sounding cable with credible levels of resolution and solid composure. However, pitched against something of quality like QED’s Silver Anniversary XT single wire (£5.50/m), this cable comprehensively loses out.
