New from custom installation specialists The Pleasure Home is the SmartWall, a complete integrated home entertainment system designed to create a sleek, simple-to-use installation.
It comes complete with screens and electronics pre-installed, is controlled by a single remote handset, and can even contain twin backlit aquaria and a fridge!
The SmartWall has a built-in main screen of 60in or larger, above which sits a pair of monitors on which you can keep up with the sports results, check on your investments or keep an eye on security cameras.
The sliding doors cover the main screen, but have cut-outs so the auxiliary monitors can still be viewed with the doors closed; the screens can show pictures or art when the system isn't being used.
A door below the main screen opens to reveal the electronics in their custom pull-out rack, while a drinks fridge can be built-in behind a second door.
The onboard electronics deliver jukebox-style access to music, DVDs and Blu-rays, internet access, satellite or cable TV, and 980W of amplification feeding integrated left, right and centre speakers.
Options extend to those fishtanks and a fridge, surround speakers and a subwoofer, access to security cameras, electric operation of the sliding doors, and integration into a multiroom system.
The standard finish includes leather door panels and exotic wood veneers, and prices start from £25,000 fully installed, depending on configuration and options.
